Curiosity led me to travel, and practising foreign languages opened up new worlds to me. Later, I found I had a way with words through my intensive work as a simultaneous interpreter. I take delight in this role as a go-between, since it allows people from different cultures to really hear what they’re saying to one another. This thirst to convey and communicate has always been a central part of my life and I’ve made it my reason for being.

I trained as a translator both in France and the UK before becoming a conference interpreter out of love for live action and directness. Stage experience also enabled me to get to grips with the stress involved and to play on it, grasping the issues, both from the point of view of the speaker as well as their audience. I serve my client’s objectives by faithfully translating what the speaker is saying, to meet the audience’s expectations. It calls for constant attention.

My experience as a sound technician, my appetite for new technology, and my taste for simultaneous interpreting project management enable me to provide the best possible guidance for organisers of international events.

In a word, I lend an attentive ear to my clients so they can find their voice.
